Advice on thermostats

Smart heating starts with a smart thermostat.

That box on the wall where you set the temperature, not much is thought of, but this device can do a lot for you in both comfort and energy saving. The heating is responsible for more than half of your energy consumption! This is where the most profit can be made. A thermostat can play a major role in this.
To better explain this, we divide thermostats into a few categories: conventional, smart and multi-zone thermostats.

Conventional thermostats

Often the thermostat that comes with the boiler or is already present in your home. These thermostats can only be operated by hand and can sometimes be set with a clock program.

Handy if you don't want to worry about the thermostat, just set it once and your home is always comfortable the way you want it. Most clock thermostats are also "smart", ie they get to know your home and thus control the boiler in the best possible way.

However, we do not have these in our program because we like to go a step further.

Smart thermostats

We do this with the new generation of thermostats that can be controlled via an app. These thermostats are also called smart thermostats. Thanks to the connection with the app, there are smart options such as an absence function and remote control to prevent unnecessary energy consumption.

However, do you want an optimal climate in every room instead of just the place where your smart thermostat is mounted? Then a multizone thermostat is discussed.

In our opinion the only real smart thermostats!

With this you create a perfect climate in every room instead of just the room where the thermostat is installed.

Wouldn't it also be illogical to have only one switch to turn all the lights in your house on and off?

With a multizone thermostat it is therefore possible to each desired space can be controlled separately so you never use energy unnecessarily, but you can also heat spaces that were previously difficult to get to the right temperature.
