Installation conditions

So that everything is clear

The work is carried out by our own specialists or by specialists from companies we work with. This can differ per service.
We work together with other specialists in order to be able to provide a high-quality service.

General conditions for installation work:

  • Applicable General Terms and Conditions for Installation Work at Consumers (AVIC)
  • The customer must always be present, we are not allowed to carry out work if the customer is not present.
  • Always ensure that there is sufficient space where the technician has to carry out the work

Conditions specific to installation type:

Smart thermostats (single zone)

Including:

  • connecting the thermostat to the central heating boiler or other heat source
  • small parts required for connection. Small equipment includes a maximum of the following, if more is needed, this can lead to an additional cost, but we will discuss this before we carry out the work.
    • connection cable for 230V, 3 meters
    • thermostat cable 3 meters
    • cable ties 15 pieces
    • adereindhulzen
    • mounting material 10 pieces
  • linking the app
  • extensive explanation about the thermostat and app
  • control of the installation
  • a satisfied customer (customer not included)

Not included:

  • parking costs
  • For privacy reasons, we are not allowed to install the app. So make sure it is pre-installed. We can help you configure the app.
  • concealing/finishing cables, we do not have cable ducts to conceal cables unless this has been expressly discussed in advance.

Multizone thermostats and water-side balancing

When installing a multizone thermostat, there is often also work on the central heating system. Because work is carried out near or on old couplings and/or valves, these can start to leak. We are not liable for leaks arising from old couplings or valves that have not been replaced or installed by us. This means that if this happens during the installation, we can try to solve this in consultation with the customer, but if extra time or material is required, this will be charged as an additional cost. If it turns out that there is a leak afterwards, you should engage an installer yourself.

We always recommend replacing radiators with a smart button installed. This is because the "stroke" what a smart button makes may be different than the original button makes. In many cases this is not a problem, but it could be that the valve becomes stiff or even starts to leak. As described above, we are not liable for this.

Not included:

  • replacement of radiator valves if this is not stated in the quotation. We always recommend replacing the valves on radiators that are equipped with smart knobs, in order to guarantee correct operation and longer life of the knobs.
  • parking costs

  • concealing/finishing cables, we do not have cable ducts to conceal cables unless this has been expressly discussed in advance.
  • installing a bypass unless specifically discussed in advance.

Hybrid heat pumps

These are not installed by ourselves but by a partner specialist, we are only certified to advise on this. The installation conditions that apply are those of the executing company and will be sent on request and with the offer or execution of work.

Underfloor heating

These are not installed by ourselves but by a partner specialist, we are only certified to advise on this. The installation conditions that apply are those of the executing company and will be sent on request and with the offer or execution of work.
